8 Months is an ongoing project consisting of images taken throughout the past year in Sweden. The project is presented as diptychs, which mimic the format of book spreads. The associations between images are sometimes visual and at other times contextual, where the association might not be apparent to the viewer. The series takes its departure from Littlewood's personal experience of the uncertainty of being able to permanently live in Sweden before receiving her Swedish visa. The photographs of friends and places capture what has become a long goodbye.
